My practice is built on the ongoing science of human development and neurobiology with a focused lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

The core mission is to tangibly cultivate compassion and skillful communication in teams and orgs so they can have the hard conversations necessary to innovate forward together toward greater wellbeing.

My work is done individually and in groups and can be built to scale.

I also offer consulting for best practices on facilitation and company communication.

I have been running workshops, groups and facilitating mediations for over 20 years. I bring structure, a felt sense of safety, enthusiasm, joy, and focus to any room remote or in person.

I love to create customized agendas that meet your cultural needs. I design interactive activities to reach desired outcomes and goals while engaging all learning styles.

What is The Process Like?

First of all, it is fun. If we aren’t smiling and laughing together while we work, even if and when we cry together, then what’s the point? Sharing our mutual humanity is core to my work. My hope is you feel safe, engaged, curious, and supported in each interaction you have with me.

1. Relationship Building

Fit is everything. The first step is to see if we vibe. You don’t have to be BFF with your coach, but it is important that there is a friendly and trusting working relationship.

2. Assess Needs

The next step is to start to assess your needs. Because my work is so custom, I take time to listen to you and discover what is most helpful and how to priortize and scaffold our approach. I also have assessments we can run if you are data driven. 

3. Exploratory sessions

The next step is to meet with you and your people 1:1 to create relationship and buy in to the work while supporting each person’s unique path. I will also listen for themes in your community or organization to support creating our custom groups and workshops.   

4. Groups and Workshops

This is where it gets messy and fun. We will create custom community work to have the conversations needed to move your group forward. I infuse psychoeducation on emotinal intelligence, psychological safety, and tangible community care into the trainings so our discussions are healthy and productive. We are creating and practicing group norms in this process and building accountability and conflict resolution into the change.

5. Maitenance

This is a journey and process. I never know how long this work will go on. That is based on our collaboration for you and your needs. I do know that the most successful people and teams continue with maitenance work through less frequent sessions and groups to keep the new norms alive and evolve with new issues. I am very particular with who I work with as I am not a short term package. I’m in it for the long haul to ensure success with the foundational change and sustainable lifestyle over time.
